So I’ve been selected to be a delegate in THIMUN for an international conference. They said we have to wear business-like clothes, i prefer skirts and dresses (I’m a girl) But I need help to find good ones, (i don’t live in the states) Do you have any suggestions on what to wear?? Thanks!

I have a history assessment and it’s a 10 mark ‘explain’ question: Which side gained the most from the Yalta and Potsdam conferences? Give reasons for your answers.
Not sure anybody really gained – on balance you might decide that Stalin did as he took over a substantial part of Europe – but ulitmately it would prove untenable. To answer this you need to look carefully at the summaries of the conferences and analyse these before coming to your conclusion.

According to pbs.org there were 13 conferences held during World War II. Curiously, only two conferences included the leaders of the big three Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. These were the Tehran or Eureka conference as well as the Yalta conference. The last conference at Potsdam included now President Harry Truman along with Winston Churchill as well as Joseph Stalin. Ok, and Truman, too.
There were many conferences during the war but only once did Truman (FDR had died), Churchill, Stalin, Atlee all meet at the same time. That was the last one, the Potsdam Conference July/August 1945.
Below is the list of conferences held during WW2, it says the list is incomplete but I don’t know of any others.
See in the Major participants column, different conferences were attended by different people, it was hard to get the leaders of the major Allies together at the same time.
I’m look for three specific subjects only please:
Spirituality – Self-Help – Science
I can’t seem to find any online sources that list these types of events. Most event websites only really cater for sports and music events and this is not what I want.
Any advice?
