Ted, where did you find this chart for testosterone levels. I’ve been looking for something like this for months.

funny voice but probably a super intelligent guy
Dr. Morgenthaler …
Dr. Morgenthaler talks about the idea that, with medical help, men of any age can maintain the testosterone levels of healthy young men. That leaves the question of what those levels are. This data comes from a site that addresses men’s hormonal health. (The units are nanograms per deciliter, ng/dl)
Age Average Male Testosterone Level
15-24 750 ng/dl
25-34 700 ng/dl
35-44 650 ng/dl
45-54 600 ng/dl
55-64 550 ng/dl
65-74 500 ng/dl
75-84 450 ng/dl
85-99 400 ng/dl
Dr. Morgenthaler …
Dr. Morgenthaler takes the testosterone level in healthy young men (under 40) as an appropriate level for older men too. (Doesn’t he?) I like that conclusion. I wonder if more conservative doctors can tolerate or even support testosterone therapy for aging men with suitable blood tests (testosterone, free testosterone, PSA, say) and patients’ experience. The evidence than this therapy aggravates prostatic cancer is inconclusive (so far as I know.)
