Which conference will have the best winning percentage in the bowl games?
Some intesting matchups. Only conferences with 3 or more teams please. This is a good way to see which conference has the dumbest fans.
With help from Kristen the SEC has an early lead.
Good question, but only one correct answer……………
The SEC!
matchup #1=
Independance Bowl / Alabama vs Colorado
I have Alabama in this one by a touchdown.
Matchup #2=
Music City Bowl / Kentucky vs Florida State
This is the only loss that the SEC will suffer this bowl season. I see Florida State taking this one in a thriller by a field goal.
Matchup #3=
Chick-Fil-A Bowl / Auburn vs Clemson
Clemson has had a good team this year. They do have one flaw, they have yet to beat a top-25 team all season. Their losses all come from a ranked opponent, with the exception of Georgia Tech (call that their off week). I see Auburn dominating this one by three touches.
Matchup #4=
Outback Bowl / Wisconsin vs Tennessee
This will be one of the lower scoring games of the bowl season, being two very strong defenses going against each other. I do see Tennessee having a more potent offense and pulling off the end of the game score. Tennessee by touchdown.
Matchup #5=
Cotton Bowl / Missouri vs Arkansas
This will be one of the nail biters. I think that Missouri will still be reeling from the loss to Oklahoma when they meet Arkansas. I do admit that Missouri is more a superior team than is Arkansas, but after that heart-breaking loss, and on the legs of Darren McFadden, I see Arkansas pulling it off by a field goal.
Matchup #6=
Capital One Bowl / Michigan vs Florida
All I can say is Tim Tebow. The guy is a sophomore and he is probably gone in the first round, if not the first overall pick, in the NFL draft. Florida rolls heavily over Michigan by three or more touchdowns.
Matchup #7=
Sugar Bowl / Hawaii vs Georgia
This will be the first time that Hawaii has faced a good defense. Colt Brennan is an awesome QB, but his time has come. For the first time in his career, he will not pass for more than 150 yds and he will look up at a lineman from his back at least three times. Georgia by two touchdowns.
Matchup #8=
BCS Championship Game / Ohio St. vs LSU
It has taken 6 overtimes for LSU to lose 2 times. That says a lot about the drive this team has. Ohio State is overrated and has not played anyone ranked higher than 23rd, and only a ranked team three times. LSU has played 9th twice, 12th, 14th, 17th twice, and 18th. They have lost only one of those games, to Kentucky, in triple overtime. This is the oppurtunity that all the nay-sayers of the SEC have asked for. Finally they will see that the SEC is as powerful as its fans say it is. LSU by two touchdowns
Sorry if anyone gets offended by this and for those of you that feel it is outlandish, it is my opinion. But all I know is that the SEC is sporting 8 teams in bowls this season, and of those 8, I only foresee one loss. Good luck to all the other conferences, but soon we will see that the SEC is the top conference.

I’d like to see the big 12 do well but I think the acc has alot of favorable matchups so they may end up winning quite a few.

Nice trick question…. I’d probably say SEC, followed by the Big 10, then Pac 10, then Big 12, ….. so you can’t say which team is the dumbest by this statement.

I think the ACC will. I would say the BigEast but they arent as good as they were last year. Im a big east fan but I juts cant see them winning over 50%.

Big 12.
Mizzou and OU should both beat their opponents with ease, however with this year like it is, that is scary. Kansas is the only one I have worries about.

SEC Georgia over Hawaii, LSU over Ohio State is just the start

The league that wins the largest percentage of games vs the number of games lost. The league fitting this criteria will be most accurately determined in January.
By this, a league that won 3 and lost 0 would have a better winning percentage than a league that won 8 out of 9. A league that lost 7 out of 8 would have a better winning percentage than a league that only lost 3 games, but, did not win any.

Oh, not nice. Here’s a serious answer. Taking a look at the matchups in all the bowls, I honestly don’t see the SEC doing too well (here come the thumbs down, and I’m a Georgia alum). I think the best chance of the SEC winning is Georgia beating Hawaii, and that’s a trap game if there ever was one, and next closest is Florida handling Michigan. The rest of the SEC matchups are very close, and Ohio State WILL beat LSU. It looks like the Big-12 and ACC will probably have the best overall records.
