Is Big 12’s defense really that bad, or the offense is too good?

Is Big 12’s defense really that bad, or the offense is too good?
Can anyone offer some head-to-head/out of conference meetings? For example, TX holds AR to 10 points, the same Arkansas team that put up like 30 some points on LSU.

Any strong, logical arguments are welcome.

it’s probably a combination of the 2.

OU’s offense is virtually unstoppable (except by Texas).

Texas held Kansas to 7 points in Kansas, while they put up 31 in Norman.

  1. Texas defense is very underrated. They only gave up 16 points the final two games. Only 7 points against a good Kansas offense in Kansas.

SEC has no answer for Big-12 offense. Look at the Cotton Bowl. Arakansas just beat LSU. Mizzou who just got destroyed by Oklahoma beat Arkansas like a red-headed step-child!

Oklahoma defense leads the nation in turnovers, sacks, tackles for losses. Is THAT bad defense, or just a team that is ahead by 6 TD’s at halftime?

A little bit of both the offenses are really good and the defense are just mediocore at best when you have a conference with really good QBs they usually end up putting up points
