I’m doing some research on green meeting planning?

and I needed a little help.

I work for an event planning company, and we are trying to implement strategies/methods so that our university (where we hold conferences/events/meetings) can be more sustainable.

Does anyone have any examples of other companies that are going green or are completely green and the methods which they have incorporated? If your company is one of them, even better!

Websites would be appreciated as I will look through them for more information.

A simple search for "green meetings" revealed the Green Meeting Industry Council at http://www.greenmeetings.info/ as well as a ton of other links. Have you tried the good old search bar?

At my company, meetings by definition are not green. We are trying to stop the use of paper (no handouts) as well as eliminating travel for meetings by using more audioconferencing, netconferencing and videoconferencing.

I’ve used GNPGreenGear.com for green our campus giveaways… everything is going green now. Their staff was amazing, considering majority of their business comes from colleges
