Your question really hinges on how many people you're going to have, what is the purpose for the game (passing time? inbetween classes? Evening event?)

But here are my suggestions.

Cranium, Men vs Women (max 6 players) was a favorite of our circle of married couples. It is a mix of pretty much every board game in exsistance. Available at your local Wal-Mart, KBtoys, Toys R us, Amazon.com

A few other suggestions could be theatre games like.

The 1 word story: (3-20 players)

Where everyone sits in a circle and gets a story going only contributing one word at a time.

What are you doing?(5-30 players):

Everyone gets in a line on a wall. The first person goes out and starts pantomiming an action, for instance, mowing the lawn. The next person in line waits a beat, then goes out and asks the first "What are you doing?" The pantomimer must answer immediately and say they are doing ANYTHING other than what they are pantomiming without studdering or stammering. If The pantomimer is successful in doing so (harder than it may sound) then the asker takes the pantomimer's place and begins performing whatever action was answered and the next person comes out and asks "What are you doing?" If the pantomimer fails to come up with a random answer, he/she is out. It's important to keep the pace of the game up, and no answer to "What are ou doing?" can be repeated in a single game.

And Finally the Name Game (2-who knows)

The first player says the name of a famous person. For instance: Tom Cruise. The next player must then say the name of another famous person, that persons first name must start with the same letter as the last name name given by the first player. Confused? heh. Tom Cruise, Cruise begins with a "C" so the next player must say a name beginning with a "C". Like Charlize Theron. The 3rd player must then think of a famous peron who's first name begins with a "T" like Thomas Jefferson... so on and so forth. If a player can't say a name within whatever amount of time decided at the beginning of the game, that player is out. Last one standing wins. No repeats and no 1 named people like Cher or Madonna. Famous people can be Sports figures, historic figures, celebrities whatever but they must be real. NO CARTOONS. :P

Have fun.
