Our Earth has it’s own environmental protective system and the puny efforts of man to pollute or cause any environmental change is like emptying the Dead Sea with a thimble. We can cause local problems,world wide problems that’s something else. Ordinary volcanic activity causes more pollution than the very best efforts of man in trying to use up the vast resources of Mother Earth. I Liked Al Gore the politician and voted for him,now he is playing the role of a fool. Lately he has taken to lying misquotes of leading climatologists and I feel very sorry for Him.

If the world leaders were actually concerned about the welfare of the planet, then yes. Right now they are too concerned about getting what they can for themselves, the world at large be damned. Kind of like the senators and the health insurance reform bill.
