10th Meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties to the Convention on Wetlands (Ramsar, Iran, 1971)

The 10th Ramsar Conference of the Contracting Parties, which will be held in Changwon Gyeongnam, will be the biggest meeting in its histroy with about 2000 participants from all over the world.
Wetlands are very important reservoirs of biodiversity. A number of plants and animal species depend solely on wetlands and more importantly it is wetlands that sustain us.
The upcoming COP will provide an opportunity for all of us who are concerned about wetlands to intensify our efforts and to become even more united in our conservation endeavors.
Ramsar COP 10 will yield successful and productive results. Welcome to Changwon, Gyeongnam, Korea.
