    if pacquiao knocks …
if pacquiao knocks clottey out i will be in super shock i mean Clottey has fought tons of strong fighters like margarito cotto judah and if manny knocks him out i will just be surprised and disappointed at all the fighters in the welter weight division seriously

  4. wtf is with the …
wtf is with the dallas cowboys refernces…they’re so annoying. Who gives a flying shyt. Its a boxing event no one cares how many years the cowboys won the nfc east nor how many superbowls they won. We know its Cowboy Stadium how many more cowboys references do we need? Jerryworld n his psychotic obsession…..smh. I dont think its even possible for jerryworld’s stadium to host the superbowl in a neutral fashion.

    Everyone is saying …
Everyone is saying that Clottey is going to give the Pacman loads of trouble but I don’t see how he isn’t just going to give Clottey a spanking seeing as he did the same to Cotto. But respect to Manny, he’s a very respectable replacement for Floyd. Clottey is a big boy though be sure to bulk up on the roids Manny, you’ll need them!

    I doubt whether …
I doubt whether Buffer has been to Twickenham. LMFAO, World champions? Well that’s not exactly difficult seeing as no one outside the states plays American football!

    @DavidColumbia Yes …
@DavidColumbia Yes wembley is a good stadium but untill you’ve actually step inside this stadium you could not compare the two, one thing this stadium has for it, rain or shine, it’s confortable for any event and much more confortable than when I was at wembley on a rainy day and better viewing.

Yeah I know. A bunch of scalpers bought the tickets and flipped them, They opened the whole stadium anyways. No biggie. There not sold out at all.

    There is talk that …
There is talk that there will be standing room tickets sold at a later date. For all the sporting events so far, there has been standing room tickets sold. Just remember that with most sporting events, small amount of tickets become available at different times until the event is held. Granted they usually are the medium to higher prices tickets but they do come available. Just got tickets to the NBA all star game on Friday, lower level at that.

    You cant make the …
You cant make the stadium SMALLER? They are just blocking off parts of the stadium. And just so you know…tickets went on sale yesterday…and they were sold out YESTERDAY. All 40,000 seats were gone within a few hours. You saying that they couldn’t fill this stadium for Boxing??? If all 110,000 seats were even available they probably still would of been sold out by now. Its not going to be “hard” to do anything. These are World class fighters. Were not talking about football here

    The stadium sits …
The stadium sits just over 80,000 and with party tickets (standing room) it can go over 110,000 (you have to get there early to see anything with those party tickets). For about half the events, they have not sold the 4th level and by doing so it limits the tickets to about the 40-45,000.

  15. they had to make …
they had to make the stadium smaller
from 110,000 to 40,000 it will be hard even at that to fill that stadium for boxing

  18. @kirkfredericksen …
@kirkfredericksen If you must now, Pacquiao will be running for congressman in the Philippines. Unfortunately, official campaigning starts March 20 and the whole election gig lasts until around May 2010. This means if Pacquiao doesn’t fight before March 20, he won’t be avaialble to fight until probably May or beyond.

  19. It’ll be …
It’ll be interesting seeing Clottey on 24/7 and see his training. This should be a great fight. Can’t wait! :)

    No disrespect for …
No disrespect for Clottey, he’s a good fighter but he ain’t got a name in boxing. Casual fans don’t know him at all.

  25. kirkfredericksen on March 6th, 2010 at 10:06 am

    Great introduction …
Great introduction from Michael Buffer. I don’t know why Pacquiao has to rush himself and fight Clottey while he could have waited a month or so and end up fighting Mosley instead after a Berto cancellation. If Pac still hoping to land a fight with Gayweather, it will only happen in his dream.
