How much to charge for powerpoint presentation?

I created a 26 slides Medical powerpoint presentation for a surgeon to show on her speech in medical conference. She made me work for roughly 3 hours in day and 10 hours in night (so no sleep for me). The slides were custom designed and I’d put several animated gif by searching internet for a long time.

What would be a good price to ask for?

I think start from 250/- for 35 pages or 10mins…. which ever comes first…..

I would like to attend the NSLC for the Medical Program, but that, paired with governor’s school, will cost about $5000 for my summer. I will need a scholarship that is offered to Juniors in high school and can be used for any education related expense, not just college. I just do not have the money to pay for this, and I am trying to find scholarships that will suit my circumstance.

If you want to do something like that you have two options: beg the money out of your parents (lol), or grow up and get a job (plenty of kids do just that), instead of looking for handouts.

if you are interested in an educational point of view,i have a love of medicine but i don’t want to become a doctor lol,just for my own knowledge,but can anyone attend or are most to professionals by invitation only?any advice you can give me is appreciated thanks

The press often attends our conferences. They are quite expensive, by the way. You cannot attend without paying the fees. As physicians, either our employer shells out the bucks, or we can take it off income tax.

Start saving your money, if you plan to attend. And Susan is correct, if you have not done extensive reading and know a lot about immunohistochemistry and tumor markers and other such esoterica, your money is likely to be wasted.

i have two options to get invitation letter , first option is that my cousin(first blood relation) can send me an invitation letter as he is US citizen , and second option is that i can get an invitation letter from a hospital / medical organization to attend medical conference. please tell me which invitation will be better for me as i am medical student of 5th year and next year i will get my degree.

First, the USA does not require visa applicants to have an invitation. It is not like the former USSR.

The best first step is to make contact with a travel agency where you live that is familiar with the documentation requirements:

Having an "invitation" from your cousin is almost meaningless. The most the letter will do is allow you to not need hotel reservations, and then only if you will be staying with your cousin. The Visa Officer may not even review the letter.

Attending a conference is in a slightly different category and your chances of being granted the visa are somewhat higher.

Note that US Visa Officers are > primarily < concerned with verifying the visitor will 1. Leave on schedule and 2. Not do anything illegal while in the USA (such as work while visiting on a tourist visa).

Again, work with a real travel agency that has experience arranging trips to the USA. Also ask for help from the organization that is arranging the conference. They may or may not be able to do anything for you, but it’s worth asking.

I am applying for US visit B2 visa, i have two options to get invitation letter/sponsor letter,1.sponsor letter from a cousin 2.invitation letter from pedriatics health centre to attend medical conference,please tell me in which case i have highest possibility to get a visa as i am medical student.

You have a better chance of being approved with an invitation letter from a conference than from a relative. If you get a letter from a cousin – they may think you are trying to come to the US to stay with them illegally. A medical conference invitation should not be rejected unless you either fail to file the proper paperwork or lie on your application

I don’t think I could.
I bet if she had a Harvard degree or were a doctor, she’d probably end up finding out she’s way more compatible with high-status dudes. Lol she’d probably end up having an affair at some medical conference with a Patrick Dempsey lookalike…

So, no for me!
I think I’d be more compatible with someone less ambitious and more down-to-earth, since they’re more likely to make our relationship a priority.

Not date someone because they’re *too ambitious*? That seems odd to me.

I don’t think I’d date someone who surpassed me extremely in intelligence, though, but just because I would feel like I couldn’t stimulate their minds enough and that they would deserve someone who was more on their intellectual level. I’d love to learn from someone so educated and knowledgeable, but I doubt it’d be very fun for them to teach me.
